FUTURE OF SCIENCE CONFERENCE
The Future of Science Conference is an opportunity for science educators and teachers of science (PreK-16) to meet and discuss future developments in science research and science education. The key topic is varied each year. For the 2007 conference the focus will be on Global Warming. A discussion after the keynote will focus on how do we, as teachers, address the concerns and responsibilities of scientists and science in the day to day world in which the students live. The keynote discussion is followed by a series of hands-on grade level workshops that are tailored to the standards of the grade level for the session.
